New Obsession: Elina Duni Quartet

Recently, NPR's All Things Considered ran my review of Matane Malit, by the Elina Duni Quartet. If the concept -- Albanian folk songs reworked by a jazz group -- seems a bit random, give it time: Duni and her crew create entrancingly vivid mountain-gazing vistas in sound.
